Engineering across disciplines. Building beyond boundaries.

The Future is Malleable

VAFTSY is a multidisciplinary engineering organisation. Civil, electrical, mechanical and computer-aided engineering teams work as one, from the foundation to the final commissioning test.

Who we are

One engineering organisation, four disciplines that work together.

VAFTSY began in 2001 as an industrial civil contractor in Pune. It grew into electrical systems in 2004 and computer-aided engineering in 2007. Today the same teams design, analyse, build and commission industrial facilities for clients in seven countries.

Systems Engineering

The discipline that joins the others.

A press, a plant or a machine is only as good as the interfaces between its parts. Our systems engineering practice defines those interfaces first, then designs, analyses and verifies the whole.

Ventures

Engineering that moves into intelligent machines.

Robots for the night harvest

Our new venture applies engineering, AI and robotics to agriculture. Its first initiative is a robot designed to pick nishigandha (tuberose) buds at night.

Dynamic analysis of a multi-robot structure: project image

Dynamic analysis of a multi-robot structure

Problem
Robots mounted on a shared gantry create vibration, jerk loads and G-forces that drive fatigue.
Our contribution
Dynamic vibration analysis including jerk and G-force loading to establish safety and fatigue life.
Outcome
Safety and fatigue life of the multi-robot structure established.
